How to keep your mailing list up-to-date?


Keeping your mailing list up-to-date is always a best practice for a higher engagement rate and meeting all the compliances.

Update you a list, how do you do it? 

  • Check with your contacts if they still liked to be in your mailing-list every six months.
  • Delete the emails which are no more existing (Check the bounce mails),
  • Send email address authentication link for all newly registered email.
  • Send an email acknowledgement/confirmation to the contacts you had an in-person meetings or trade shows where you have exchanged your visiting cards.
  • Try send mails on a periodical interval (4 to 6 weeks), a best practice is conveying in the mail “how periodically they would receive the email” from you.
  • Ensure the all the mails you send have a Unsubscribe link, and this link is visible.Segment you contacts based on interest or action or other parameters. Segmentation will help you in target-based email campaigns, remember “People will be apricate then mail based on there interest”
